DHCHD Brand is Hiring a Sleep Technician Near Dalhart, TX
Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory, the Sleep Technician is responsible for maintaining client confidentiality, working with clinicians to convey and interpret study findings, and implementing best practices before, during, and after the sleep study procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Sleep Study preparation and set up.
- Verify patient identification, documents and obtain consent for the study.
- Explain the procedure and provide appropriate patient education.
- Apply electrodes and sensors according to procedure standards.
- Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
- Score clinical events and generate accurate reports from the data.
- Maintain a current BLS or CPR certification.
- Adhere to all sleep study policies and procedures.
